The BodyTalk Story by Belinda

How do I explain BodyTalk and the iceberg of emotions and memories that lie deep beneath the surface of what is seen and understood? How do I explain the healing benefits of the unraveling, release and bringing to the forefront (consciousness) the layers upon layers of unconscious, subconscious stored and repressed active memories and belief systems influencing every sphere of our behaviour, health and life? I could start with a quantum physics 101 lesson and bore you to tears or I could put it across in a story.

I am not a master, a guru or anyone greater than or less than another. I am still a work in progress. I am however a trained and Certified BodyTalk Practitioner who can facilitate  you in overcoming and bringing to light many of your ailments by holding sacred space and witnessing the shift in you (quantum physics), that is what I have been taught to do and is all that I can do.

Because you see ultimately YOU heal yourself.

PAIN the dark messenger.

When pain speaks to you, do you listen?

Or do you suppress its cry, banishing it to some remote region of your body and mind?

Pain always lives in the dark, empty places of your being.

When you try to kill it or suppress it, it lives on and it grows. It thrives in the darkness of fear and ignorance. Its voice becomes louder as you try and silence it.

Any kind of pain, whether emotional, mental or physical is not the cause.

PAIN IS THE MESSENGER.

Is it helpful to shoot the messenger?

Your body uses pain to warn you of a bodily function that is out of balance. It hopes that you will listen and bring to light the cause of the underlying imbalance. Modern society has taught us to employ immediate gratification and quick fixes, so we are armed and go guns blazing, after the messenger.

Rather than listening we take painkillers to kill off the body and mind ache. A painkiller does not fix the cause of the pain, it just SILENCES THE MESSENGER.

The physical body is the destination of pain that begins its journey in the energy body of emotion and thought. The imbalances that ultimately affect our physical health begin in non-physical health.

SO, we should understand our non-physical pain. The suppression of emotional and mental pain builds a dark place within, a self-made dungeon, and then you push your pain inside, build walls around it and lock the door. You want it dark because you do not want to see it. You want it silenced because you do not want to hear. You return to the surface of your life and try to pretend that the pain is safely gone.

When life brings you reminders of pain you go back and build higher and thicker walls, What you do not realise then, is that the prisoner is a part of yourself and not a stranger. When you build a dark prison to fill with your pain you wall off pieces of yourself, until one day the dungeon fills the CASTLE THAT IS YOU, and you find that you are completely empty and in darkness. So instead of a short term sentence you sentence yourself for life. You may feel victorious because of the temporary numbing of pain but alas you feel no laughter, no joy, no love & NO LIFE.

You begin WHOLE and end up with HOLES (dis-ease).

WHEN YOU SHUT IN THE DARKNESS

YOU SHUT OF THE LIGHT

Once upon a time you disowned the parts of yourself that came with pain.

So ONLY YOU can reintegrate them. No one else is responsible for your happiness and wholeness. ONLY YOU ARE.

With time the walls that guard your pain become a mask. You wear the mask whenever you fear that the truth of that part of yourself will be revealed. The shame that is associated with true feelings and true self-expression keeps the mask firmly in place. After years of wearing the mask you start to believe that you are the mask and you further deny the parts of yourself that are buried behind walls of darkness. You know that you are wearing a mask when you look at your life and don’t see You in it. When you look at your relationships and don't see you in the relationships. If you are wearing a mask, you are not the one living and relating, your mask is. Your mask is alive, You are not.You must own the mask rather than be the mask, find the truth of who you are and let it see the light of day.

The truth is that you are equal to anything. Pain comes to tell you that if you feel less than or greater than anything, you are being taken away from being whole.Your soul is the true you. It is whole and seeks to be whole in a physical body. It is equal to everything, it needs nothing. It wants to express and feel this while in the physical World. Your soul is the silence that brings light to the inner dungeons. Your soul can face the messenger of pain without fear. In order to find wholeness again you must face the prisoner of every dungeon inside of you and face the prison guard and question the belief system (BS) that built the dungeon.

THE ONLY WAY OUT IS IN!

This is indeed a glimpse into the sacred mirror of life.

Thank the mirror when it shows you holes, thank the messenger that brings the reminder.

Pain is a dark messenger but its message is one of light.

THE GREATEST ACT OF LOVE YOU CAN BRING TO THE WORLD IS TO BE VISIBLE.

Show others what a whole person looks like without a mask.

Remind others of their wholeness by being whole..
